Hotel Boulis is excellently located right on the sand in the middle of Kamares beach, only 600m from the port. We have the extremely rare advantage of being in a quiet area away from the main road, yet only a few minutes’ walk to bus stops, souvenir shops, ceramic workshops, etc. For several years now Kamares beach has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag for safety and cleanliness.

Our (optional) buffet breakfast can be enjoyed indoors in the spacious breakfast room, or outside surrounded by flowers under the vine-covered pergola in the courtyard.

"Kafenes". Relax in the shade of the grapevine and enjoy a home-made snack or meal, or sip a cocktail whilst watching the sun set over the beach.

The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, each equipped with
private bathrooms and balconies or verandahs, refrigerators, ceiling fans, direct dial telephones and central heating, as well as TVs and air conditioners.

Our guests enjoy the extremely rare combination of a quiet, rural position with easy accessibility to bus stops, shops, cafes, tavernas, etc. The water of Kamares bay is clean and clear and there is an estuary not far from the hotel a mini wetlands area recognised by the Mediterranean SOS environmental group.

Although Kamares is the port of Sifnos and should be bustling, it has retained its tranquil fishing village character, only really becoming lively for a short time each day when the ferries dock (and for most of August!).



Sifnos is one of the last unspoilt, "undiscovered" islands of the Aegean, reverting in the winter months to a community of farmers and fishermen. Justifiably famous for its cuisine and ceramics, Sifnos also boasts an archaeological museum and a folk museum, and is ideal for swimming, hiking, photography.
